J6 Facts You May Not Know
1. J6er Matthew Perna turned himself into authorities over his trespass into the Capitol building on J6 2021 and was open and honest about his wrong doings to the police. Even so, a terrorism charge was added to his case last second that would surely add substantial time to his sentencing.
On March 22nd, Perna committed suicide.
The since release J6 footage shows Perna peacefully walking through the Capitol. No evidence of violence or terrorism. This footage would not have been allowed in his trial.

2. J6er Ryan Samsel had an extensive criminal record before the events that took place on January 6th, 2021 that would ultimately land him in prison. Ryan was arrested in connection to J6 for allegedly assisting in knocking down a barrier and struggling over a riot shield with an officer at the Capitol. No one was seriously injured.
Since Ryans arrest in January 2021, he has been moved 17 times and subjected to inhumane treatment. At one point, Ryan was held in solitary confinement in a closet sized jail cell, naked, under 24-7 surveillance, deprived of sunlight, the privilege of reading, and all communications for 6 months. He lost a whopping 75 pounds by January 21, 2021. He endured physical beatings as well. Ryan was given a yellow bucket as a toilet.
This treatment has left Ryan with permanent vein damage, partial blindness in his right eye, total loss of mobility of his right arm and hand, and chronic pain.
“It was Central Regional Virginia Jail (CVRJ). I was kept in and they called it booking hard cell, which is you get zero phone, zero commissary, zero clothing because they think that you’re going to hang yourself and you’re on constant surveillance. You’re under surveillance constantly. The light has to be on 24/7. You’re locked in a cell. There is no getting out. The windows in Virginia were covered by a black mat, so you weren’t able to see. And it’s constant nothing. It’s deprivation of everything.”
To this day, Ryan Samsel is in a jail cell awaiting trial.
